Our History

Since 2016, consultants based in the European Union have undertaken assignments on behalf of notable EU partner organizations and/or funders such as DFID, USAID, AusAid, etc.

Due to the historical ties between relatively peaceful East and Southern Africa, and considering trade and political ties between Sub-Saharan Africa and various major European powers; the decision to establish a permanent representation in the city of The International City of Peace and Justice – The Hague – was a natural one. Independent professionals representing Interdev Consulting travelled to Italy, The Netherlands, The United Kingdom, Switzerland and Belgium in Europe and to Australia working for  NGOs, Think Tanks, and private companies with investments and development projects in Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, and Zimbabwe.

In 2019, more permanent representation and official incorporation began in Southern Africa.

In 2020, the East Africa hub was opened, as well as the one in Europe.

Interdev Consulting continues to expand its operations, employing qualified specialists with multicultural and disciplinary experience in both of the European Union and the African Union to conduct End of Project Evaluations, serve as Grant Officers, Compliance Specialists, Advocacy Managers, and other experts. All of our consultants hold experience within the United Nations system and the International NGO arena.
